INTERNSHIP DETAILS

The Foundation of Innovation and Technology Transfer, IIT Delhi hosts internship program in Engineering, Innovation and Design for Undergraduate / Postgraduate students in any branch of the Electrical Sciences e.g. Electrical Engg, Electronics with Telecommunication / Communications, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Opto-electronics etc. This Internship  will be organised in Indian Institute of  Technology, Delhi. It’s round the year internship. The earlier you apply, the better!

About the Internship:
The Global Internship Program in Engineering Design and Innovation for the Electrical Sciences is coordinated by Prof.Subrat Kar, Airtel IIT Delhi Center of Excellence in Telecommunication (AICET) / Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management in IIT Delhi – it runs throughout the year.   
Every Intern, regardless of the area of work / choice of faculty mentor will be trained in product development lifecycle,  project management, software tools, hardware design tools and software, and presentation skills. This will be followed by a student specific project. A weekly feedback session will be held.
Who can apply:
  • Students who are registered in recognized College/Institution/Deemed University in Engineering discipline in Electrical Sciences(Electrical Engg,Computer Science,Electronics,Communication/Telecommunication, Instrumentation and allied Electrical Sciences)  and are either
    • Pre-final/Final year UG(must completed at least four semesters/ two years of required course work at the start of Internship.)
    • Or PG (must have completed at least two semesters/one year of required coursework)students who are registered in recognized educational Institute.

Please Note:
  1. Will I get paid ?
    Yes, if your faculty mentor can support you from his/her research grants. That depends on him/her entirely and the quality of your work.
